For the past 17 years, Nina has worked in various HR Generalist and Consultancy roles across a variety of sectors including NHS, Private Healthcare and Education.
She worked as Head of HR and the Strategic HR Lead for Diversity and Inclusion at St Christopher’s where she specialised in people management, employee relations and the management of change.
She has delivered several people management and leadership courses from front line managers to senior level executives. Nina is particularly interested in management development and organisational design, providing advice on high performing team structures and job roles including job evaluation processes and recruitment needs.
More recently, Nina has become involved in transformational HR and cultural change. Two recent projects Nina is leading on are:
BME staff progression within a large NHS Trust while simultaneously working on the cultural change programme to become the “Best Place to Work” within Devon STP.
Principal consultant for a large NHS Foundation Trust working on cultural transformation programme and Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Deliverables included the creation of the Trust EDI strategy and associated implementation plans. Engaging with key stakeholders including Employee Network Groups. HR Business partner training and facilitation, which lead to the creation and implementation of a high visibility launch of the Trust’s new zero tolerance approach to bullying and harassment.
Nina is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a certified workplace coach and facilitator. She has also completed an MA in Strategic Human Resources.
Jessica is advocate for, and an experienced consultant in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She provides strategy/ change management support and training to public, not-for-profit and private sector organisations, both large and small. She is first and foremost, a project designer and manager, managing teams of up to 25 people on long and short-term projects, ensuring that everyone working on the project understands their roles, and has the tools, knowledge and confidence to achieve, and enjoy the process with peers.
Over the last 5 years she has supported organisations with the development and implementation of Equality Impact Assessments, helping them to set up or enhance their practice. She provides support with writing policies, practices, developing toolkits and delivers training, coaching and support. She also provides quality assurance reviews of EqIAs produced by a variety of organisations.
She has developed a keen interest in ensuring EqIA authors have access to the necessary data they need about local populations their activities will impact upon and have devised ways in which to collect and present open-source data in easy to understand formats.
Jessica has worked with multiple train operating companies, TfL to embed EqIAs through upskilling managers and leaders and providing consultancy to senior managers. She was Senior Consultant at Goss Consultancy Limited for 20 years during which she managed the delivery of EqIA training for Tfl. She has also worked with department for transport, hospitality, arts sector and NGOs. She also served as Ministry of Justice Tribunal Panel member for 15 years.
