“After attending the ‘accelerating your inclusion journey’ masterclass, I then signed up for the ‘kick start your inclusion journey health check’. This experience was instrumental in assessing where we are on our inclusion journey and identifying the areas we need to address, based around leadership, policies and practices, workforce diversity, communication and engagement from an inclusion perspective. Throughout the process Victoria’s expertise and passion for diversity were clearly evident. As a result, I now have an action plan with clear guidance on key areas to focus on with practical steps of what and how to implement changes to accelerate our inclusion journey. Working with Victoria was a positive experience and her genuine passion for driving meaningful change shone through and I would be very happy to work with Victoria in the future.”

Often seen as a tick box exercise, if done well and at the right time Equality Impact Assessment can produce tangible outcomes for your business when introducing a new policy, strategy or project across the organisation. Similar to a risk assessment, it challenges our assumptions that a policy, strategy or project affects everyone the same way.
Already familiar with Equality Impact Assessments but need a refresher on how to carry them out? We offer virtual classroom training sessions and one to one coaching to HR, managers and others with responsibility for policy decisions. These are half day sessions and you will come away at the end of the session with a better understanding of the importance of EqIAs, a step by step guide to carrying out an EqIA and how to carry out an EqIA on a policy/strategy/project.
